Every year on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and accomplishments of women across the world. As a proud mother, runner, and coach, I want to take a moment to honor the incredible women who juggle full-time jobs, raise their children, and train for marathons—all at the same time.
The Power of Mother Runners
Mother runners are a force to be reckoned with. Between early morning miles before school drop-offs, lunch break runs, and late-night treadmill grinds, these women redefine commitment and determination. Training for a marathon is challenging enough, but add in career responsibilities and parenting, and it becomes a true test of strength—both physical and mental.
Yet, despite the exhaustion and the never-ending to-do lists, mother runners show up. They set an example for their children, proving that dedication, self-care, and resilience matter. They inspire not only their families but also the entire running community.
Proud to Be a Woman in Sports
I am incredibly proud to be a woman in sports. Whether it’s toeing the start line of a marathon, pacing runners to the finish, or coaching beginners as they take their first running steps, I embrace my role with gratitude and passion. Running has given me confidence, friendships, and purpose, and I love sharing that gift with others.
Through my work as a running coach specializing in beginners, I’ve helped countless runners fall in love with the sport—many of whom once doubted they could ever run a mile. I believe running is for everyone, regardless of pace, size, or background. That’s why I created the All Runners Count apparel line—to celebrate the diversity and inclusivity of our running community.
