Since the start of fall, I have run one 5k, two half marathons, and one 20-miler in preparation for my upcoming fall full marathon. History with Knockaround
Knockaround first entered my life in 2018 when I reviewed their premium shades. From the start, I loved the look and feel of the sunglasses. I am what I consider to be a sunglasses connoisseur, so when I give my stamp of approval on a pair of shades, they must be amazing!
In 2020, I reviewed Knockaround’s special release Fort Knocks in Neon Jungle. The special release shades aren’t your average shades, and they sell out quickly. You gotta get ‘em while they’re in stock!
This time around, I got the chance to review Knockaround’s newest frame, the Pacific Palisades as well as the Premiums Sports.
Knockaround Pacific Palisades
Imagine a sunglass frame that encompasses the laid-back beachy vibes. This is the Pacific Palisades frame, especially the Soul Surfer color that I received. These shades feature a vintage oversized look which is great for medium to larger-sized faces, such as my own. It’s a contoured frame with a rounded rectangular lens for a bold retrofit.

Overall, I feel as though the Pacific Palisades is perfect for a beach getaway, but as for an everyday look I prefer the look of the Knockaround Premiums, Classics, or Fort Knocks.
Premiums Sports
One of the number one complaints of wearing sunglasses while running is when they slowly slip down your face. Fortunately, the Knockaround Premiums Sports have black rubber nose pads that comfortably keep the sunglasses in place, even when running 20 miles!
The Premiums Sports are made for small to medium-sized head shapes. They are also made for square, rectangular or oval faces. Basically, they are perfect for anyone! With polarized lenses, super lightweight polycarbonate material, and UV400 protection, these shades make a good run better.
My new Knockaround Premiums Sports shades have quickly become my new go-to running sunglasses! The embedded rubber nose pads reduce slip, slide, and bounce making me one happy runner! With so many colors to choose from, you can undoubtedly find the perfect pair for you.

Summer is officially over and fall racing season is in full swing! It’s time to put all your sunny training to the test with cooler running and fun outdoor adventures.
