With fall races in full swing, my newest Knockaround shades are seeing a lot of action! Since the start of fall, I have run one 5k, two half marathons, and one 20-miler in preparation for my upcoming fall full marathon. In all of my outdoor adventures, I always make sure to pack is a high-quality and affordable pair of sunglasses!
Did you know that tree hugging has been shown to soothe and strengthen body and mind? Simply seeing trees makes us feel calmer, leading to lower heart rate and blood pressure. Hugging a tree (just like hugging a human) increases levels of oxytocin, aka the love hormone, which reduces stress and increases happiness.
There’s one accessory that is a must when running outside in California… a good pair of sunglasses! If you’re anything like me, you frequently drop, break, and/or scratch your sunglasses. That’s why when I’m in the market for sunglasses, I look for affordable, yet sturdy ones.
