One of my favorite races is the San Francisco Hot Chocolate 15k race. The opportunity to pace runners to the finish line, the course through Golden Gate Park, the race swag, and of course all the chocolate are some of the reasons why I love this race!
Two weeks ago I had the great privilege of pacing the Hot Chocolate 15k course in San Francisco for the second year in a row! If you recall from 2017's post, it was a rainy, windy day last year. Fortunately, this year turned out to be much better!
Hometown races are awesome! No hotel, long drive, nor flight is necessary. I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to join the California International Marathon fan club.
