Is there anything quite as wonderful as racing and wining?! The Napa to Sonoma Half has been on my bucket list for a few years now. When the opportunity came, therefore, to run the race I quickly signed up!
Anytime I'm given the opportunity to travel to a new location and run, I jump on the opportunity! When I gave birth to my first biological child 5.5 months ago, I wasn't sure what life with a baby would look like for me. I'm so grateful to have a husband who supports me and lets me continue my "go-go-go" lifestyle.
What better way to celebrate graduating with your Masters Degree than running a marathon?! When I discovered that the OC Marathon was the same weekend as my Masters graduation ceremony, I knew I just HAD to make the most of a weekend in Southern California. This is my journey from Masters Degree to Marathon.
San Francisco remains as one of my favorite places to run. The views, the people, the smells and the sounds are amazing! Race weekend I had not one chance to run, but TWO... a shakeout fun run on Saturday followed by the half marathon on Sunday!
As stated previously in my pre-Giant Race blog post, I was really looking forward to running the Giant Race in San Francisco! This race definitely did not disappoint. It's difficult to believe that the race was already two weeks ago. What's even more surprising is that my next half marathon is in two weeks (Rock 'n' Roll San Jose)!
