Disclaimer: I received a Mercury Mile Box to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review, find, and write race reviews!
Within the last few years, I’ve tried out several clothing delivery boxes. Mercury Mile, however, was my first running specific box. Imagine receiving a customized box full of running clothes and accessories right on your doorstep! According to MercuryMile.com, “Whatever your pace, from beginner to elite, Mercury Mile curates a shopping experience and style that moves just for you.”
Step 1: Profile Set Up
Setting up a runner profile takes no more than 10 minutes and you can save your progress and return to it at any time. The questions are easy-to-understand, easy to answer, and quick.
Mercury Mile is not just for runners. One of the questions asks what type of workouts you primarily do: road running, trail running, cross training (gym), walking, yoga, or other.
Another question that I appreciate is the questions about color combos. Some like it bright and some like it more earthy. (Can you guess which one I am?)
To ensure fit, Mercury Mile asks for your height, running shoe size, pant size, bra size (for ladies), inseam length, preferred length of shorts, loose or tight preference, top size, and my favorite, “Are you pregnant?”
Step 2: Cost
After you set up your profile, it’ll be time to select your shipment date. A calendar will appear and simply select an available date. IMPORTANT: Mercury Mile is NOT a subscription service and a box will ONLY be shipped when you want to receive one.
To receive a box, it costs $20. With the BibRave discount code “BIBRAVE10“, however, the box will only cost you $10! There’s no added cost of tax nor shipping costs!
Step 3: Receiving the Box
The value of the Mercury Mile box ranges from $125 to $250 and contains 4 to 6 pieces of activewear for you to try on from the comfort of your home. If you decide to keep any of the pieces, the stylist fee will be deducted from the cost of the items.
Step 4: Run
Once you try on all of the clothes, you get to choose if you want to keep all of the pieces, some of the pieces, or none of the pieces. Simply mail back any unwanted items in the provided prepaid envelope. It really is that easy!
