Did you know that 75 percent of Americans are chronically dehydrated?  If you’re anything like me, then perhaps there comes a point in your day where you stop and say, “Wow!  I’m really thirsty!”  My liquid intake consists of coffee in the morning on the way to work, coffee during recess (I’m a 5th grade teacher), and sometimes a little bit of water at lunch. By the time after school rolls around at about 3 o’clock, I am so parched!  This is why one of my goals towards better health, is being more conscious about my water intake.

Although I’ve been packing water with my lunch for a quite some time, I normally leave it in my lunch bag.  Now, however, I leave it sitting out on my desk.  This allows me to see it more, drink it more, and stay hydrated more.
