The 4 Ways to Start Living The Life You’ve Always Wanted

Are you feeling crippled by fear and anxieties? Are they keeping you from living the life you’ve always wanted? It doesn’t have to be this way. Here are four ways to break free and live the life you’ve always wanted!

1. Release the chains of fear. Faith and fear can not coincide. If you’re allowing fear to overtake your life, you may need more faith. Whether your faith is in God or another higher power, spend more time feeding your faith than feeding your fear. If watching or reading the news makes you fearful, stop. Yes, it’s really that simple. Fear is a liar. Feed your faith through prayer, fellowshipping with others, and worshiping through song.

2. Don’t wait for something to happen, make something happen! If you wait for the perfect moment to make a move, that perfect moment will never come. There’s no time like the present. You know that bold move that came to your mind and you’ve been unable to shake it? That’s no coincidence. That’s God talking. He does not give us a dream that He does not want us to achieve. Stop living in fear, step into faith, and make the bold move!

God does not give us a dream that he does not want us to achieve.

3. Be specific with your thoughts. What you think about, you talk about. And what you talk about, you bring about. So, be careful about what you’re thinking about. Remember, your mind doesn’t know the difference between fact versus fiction. Yes, you can trick your mind. Instead of focusing on your current reality, allow your mind to dream about the future. For example, if your goal is to run a marathon, tell your mind, “I’m a marathoner. I run 26.2 miles for fun. I eat hills for breakfast. Running is amazing and so much fun! I can’t wait to run some more!” Seriously, give it a try. What do you have to lose?

Be specific with your thoughts.

4. Make a plan. A goal without a plan is just a wish. Do you want to wish for the life you’ve always wanted or do you want to live it? Whatever your goal entails, running, parenting, career, financial, etc., make a plan. How are you going to get there? We all have the same 24 hours in a day. Do not say, “I don’t have enough time.” Make the time! I guarantee that if you map out your week, all seven days hour by hour, you’re going to be more productive in achieving your goal of living the life you’ve always wanted.

Remember this. There’s always going to be people raining on your parade. Are you going to let this rain ruin your day or are you going to choose to dance in the rain? The choice is yours.

  1. It all starts with looking within and contemplating. Focusing on what you truly want and then going on to believe yourself. It takes a little courage, little insanity and little bit of everything to live the life you wanted.

It’s what everyone wants but not everyone can live up to it. The price is high and sometimes it’s all in the mind.

      • Absolutely. But the reward comes after going through the entire experience for some they are in rush to get the fruits, hence they give up.

Once it’s all over the entire experience is so rewarding that it makes one wants to do something else again.
